Day 1 and 2: Arrive in Maun, Botswana
Fly to Maun, Botswana, via Johannesburg the gateway to the Okavango Delta, and settle into our lodge.
Dinner will be enjoyed at a working craft Brewery. A variety of delicious food and drinks and of course the Famous Okavango Craft beers on tap. Enjoy the fresh air in a beautiful garden.
The following morning we will explore the Okavango Delta with a mokoro (canoe) trip, immersing yourself in the beauty of the wetlands.
In the afternoon we will head to the elephant orphanage, a sanctuary dedicated to caring for orphaned baby elephants that have been rescued from poaching or natural disasters. Many of these elephants have been found abandoned in the wild and are brought to the sanctuary to be nurtured and rehabilitated.

Day 3: Makgadigadi Pans
After breakfast, we travel to the iconic Planet Baobab, located in the heart of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. Enjoy a quad bike adventure across the lunar-like terrain of the salt pans, visit a family of meerkats, where we’ll have the rare opportunity to observe these curious, charming creatures in their natural habitat.
Sleep under the stars in the surreal beauty of the Makgadikgadi Pans, one of the largest salt flats on Earth. Experience the desert’s silence and the night sky like never before. Dinner will be served sitting under a clear sky, with the stars sparkling above.
Day 4: Elephant Lodge
After breakfast we travel to a lodge where elephants roam. In the evening, we’ll witness the magnificent elephants returning to the waterhole to quench their thirst. As they approach, they are incredibly silent, their large, gentle feet barely making a sound on the earth. Watch in awe as these majestic creatures drink, bathe, and interact with one another, providing a mesmerizing and peaceful experience while enjoying your dinner.
Day 5 - 6: Kasane
Travel to Kasane and settle into our lodge before embarking on an afternoon safari in Chobe National Park. The open-top safari vehicle allows for unobstructed views of the wildlife. Chobe is renowned for its massive elephant population, and as you venture into the park, you’ll be in prime territory for spotting large herds of elephants wandering through the savannah. The park is also home to lions, leopards, buffalos, and a variety of antelope species like kudu and impala.
Early the next morning we will set out on a sunrise game drive. After the thrilling game drive, we will have a scrumptious meal and relaxing time before embarking on a boat cruise which offers a completely different but equally stunning perspective of Chobe. Gliding along the Chobe River, you’ll have the chance to spot wildlife that comes to the river’s edge to drink or bathe. Elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and buffalo are often seen on the banks, and the birdlife is rich and colorful, with species like kingfishers, herons, and African fish eagles making an appearance.
An intimate ambiance of the lodge, with the sounds of nature surrounding us and the soft glow of candlelight or lanterns adding warmth to the evening to enjoy a delicious dinner.
Day 7: Victoria Falls
A transfer to Victoria Falls and check into our hotel and having lunch we head to the Victoria Falls National Park to witness the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Also known in the local language as Mosi-oa-Tunya “The Smoke that Thunders”
Dinner will be at the Boma – “Place of Eating”, combining a traditional Zimbabwean feast with vibrant cultural performances.
Day 8: Gorge Hiking and Homestead Visit
A drive through the countryside of Zimbabwe on off-road terrain will offer picturesque scenery on the way to the top of the Gorge, we will enjoy an hour-long walk at the top of the gorge, along the river. The hiking experience continues into an authentic, beautiful Ndebele homestead where you will get a chance to interact with the local headman and his family while having brunch under the thatched shade of their decorated mud huts.
Dinner situated at a restaurant, watching the setting sun, casting golden hues across the sky, and the mighty Zambezi River rushes below.
Day 9: Elephant Sanctuary/Art and Dinner Cruise
Our last day in Victoria Falls, begin our day with a visit to the Elephant Sanctuary, where we'll have the opportunity to interact with rescued elephants. Learn about their rehabilitation process and the conservation efforts to protect these majestic creatures.
We then head to a serene waterhole, where easels and painting materials are set up under a magnificent Mopane tree. Guided by a private art tutor, we can unleash our creativity while observing the elephants in their natural habitat. After the art lesson, a delicious two-course buffet lunch is served at the conservation center on the banks of the Masuwe River.(All fun-no pressure if you have never lifted a paint brush in your life)
Upon return to the lodge for the adventurous types, there are the following activities available - bungee jumping, zip-lining, helicopter flights or take a stroll through Victoria Falls Town and explore its many art galleries and craft markets.
The town is filled with local artisans showcasing beautiful paintings, sculptures, beadwork, textiles, and wood carvings.
Embark on an unforgettable evening as you set sail on the majestic Zambezi River. Glide through tranquil waters, surrounded by breathtaking views of nature’s untouched beauty. Enjoy a delectable three-course meal, expertly prepared to delight your senses, while sipping on refreshing drinks as the golden hues of the sunset reflect on the river.
DAY 10: Departure Home
As you board your flight home, carry with you not only the memories of this incredible journey but alsoa piece of Africa—its spirit, its people, and its untamed beauty—that will continue to inspire you long after you've left its shores.
